Your organic vegetable garden in February 2012

A polytunnel is a great asset in a vegetable garden. Early crops, late crops, tender crops and a cosy place to work on a cold day. If you are contemplating adding a polytunnel to your veg growing, or already have one and are looking for growing ideas, articles from The Organic Way are there to help.

Get ready for spring by sowing a few early vegetable varieties now, both outdoors and under cover, and working out your rotation for this year's crops.

The information given below on sowing and planting is for everyone from the south of England to the north of Scotland.
Growing conditions can vary dramatically across the country, and also even within a locality. If you are new to growing and are unsure about exactly what to do when, try asking other vegetable growers nearby. And be guided by the weather and soil conditions.
